Great place! Really appreciated the service (even though we got there only 45 minutes before closing time), the portions are enormous, and the food was delicious! It's very reasonably priced, but do be aware that there's a small extra charge for eggs at the moment (even with that, very fair pricing and more than worth it). We got three dishes. Two were specials -- corned beef and cabbage omelette, which was great, and Benedict. The Benedict was cooked perfectly, which is no easy task. We'll definitely go back next time we are in the area!
Good place to grab a quick yet hearty breakfast in the Narragansett area. A no frills, local place that serves up a classic breakfast spread quickly and comfortably. Prices are pretty fair too. Food was good but nothing extraordinary, but you get what you pay for. Worth visiting for a fast bite to eat, and of course a lot of great sights in the area particularly during the summertime.
Travellers, this restaurant/diner is unpretentious and unassuming from the outside, but inside is charming and service is with a smile. The interior is comfortable and homey. The food is outstanding. We recommend the omelets. The veggies were fresh cooked and yummy. The spinach and mushrooms were delicious. The Johnny cakes are delicious too. We were less happy with the corned beef hash. Everything else was yummy. Check it out. We recommend. TLDR - great diner food.
Excellent service, even with being slammed on a Saturday morning. The coffee and home fries are absolutely delicious! I loved the communal effort of all the waiters taking care of all the tables, keeping beverages full, and food served to the people hot. THIS is what true diner action should look like everywhere.
It's a bit of a sleeper... we thought it was closed for the past 4 years on each of our visits to Narragansett! Good service, nice menu, home made hot sauce. Quiche was a little dry and over cooked but the pancakes and omelettes were very good. We will be back for sure.
