I absolutely love this place! Miranda, at the counter is always warm and welcoming and Mike's sandwiches are made with care and always with the freshest ingredients! You won't be disappointed! And if you like Lemonade, don't pass theirs up!

Great little mom and pop local eatery. Everyone in my party enjoyed what they ordered. I had the caprese chicken salad, and it was delicious. 😋🥗

7/19/22 - This was our first time here. The first things we noticed were that there wasn't an air conditioner or a public restroom. My friend had to walk down the block to find a public restroom. I asked why there wasn't any air conditioner. I was told it was because businesses in that area leave their doors open and it would be a waste of a/c. However, Cowabunga's door was closed. You can see in one of the photos the single fan. No unsweetened iced tea. They had a brand of diet cola I never heard of, so I ended up getting water. Now for the good stuff. The woman who helped us was friendly. My friend and I both enjoyed our food. He had the Rhode Islandah (hot cap, salami, ham, pepperoni, provolone, lettuce, tomato, banana peppers, onions, olives, peppers, oil & vinegar, grinder). I had the grilled West Kingston (breaded eggplant, pesto, sliced mozz, tomato, banana peppers, spinach). There were lots of interesting combinations of sandwiches. As far as if we'd go back, it was a 40 minute drive for us, perhaps if we were in the area and it wasn't a hot or humid day. I would say in general that this place's offerings would be best suited for younger people with eclectic tastes. Response to the owner's response - I most definitely did ask about the a/c. Are you the person who served us? As for your choice of drink offerings, you can sell what you want, I was just informing others who might prefer or need sugar-free options. Your offerings are less traditional, which is a good thing. Variety is the spice of life. Hence my comment on being best suited for younger people and more eclectic tastes. Concerning the bathroom, or lack thereof, this is information other people may want to know. Thank you for taking the time to respond and explain. I appreciate that.

Very vacation type atmosphere having a beach theme away from the beach! Love the food being named after area towns/local topics. I have had the South County sandwich and would have had it again but I needed to try the Shark attack! Both are filling and flavorful. Will have to try the frozen lemonade options next time!
