Belmont Market is a specialty, upscale market that has impeccable service, gifts, quality food choices and unbelievable selection of prepared foods for grab-n-go. Not kidding or exaggerating. Excellent customer service and the prepared food is hands down comparable to a very good restaurant. I am a very good cook, but envy the expertise and offerings at the hot food section. I don't eat red meat really at all, but highly recommend the Beef Burgundy with mushrooms and sauce accompanied by their mash potatoes and a vegetable. Unbelievable!! Melts in your mouth. All the meals are excellent. See Daniel there and he will help you with a classy smile. Again, great service.
We just ate the best mussels, prepared as moules vin blanc, which we bought fresh at the seafood counter this morning! 3 lb of mussels for $9.96. Nothing else has ever compared to moules vin blanc from Brussels, where it is the premier menu item. The Belmont mussels were stocky and rich, filling their shells as seldom seen here, every one a tasty bite. Thank you for stocking the best local seafood!
Sorry to say, the worst prepped meal we have ever had. The General Taos chicken disgusting at best! The broccoli was horrid, the chicken was devoid of flavor and the rice was dry and bland. It contained no sauce and no flavor. We had heard great things and were very disappointed and this disgusting meal cost us $14.00. I would think twice it you are planning dinner around these prepared meals!

Best place in the Point Judith area for fresh made salads and sandwiches. The sun dried tomato tortellini salad was amazing. Lunch was delicious. Great bakery as well. So many fresh baked bread options.
